Details: This is a 60 year old handmade vintage Southern Anatolian rug. It is a woven rug, these kinds of woven handmade rugs are called ‘kilim’ rugs. Due to the region it comes from this rug is called a ‘Esme’ rug. Tribal design with repeating staggered tribal symbols. On the ends the motifs are woven in halves giving a feeling of design repeating itself outward.
