This is a handmade Moroccan style rug. it is made with pure natural undyed Afghan wool. Pile height varies from zero to just above the knots which is approximately 1 and 1/2”…this is hand spun as well as hand knotted giving it a vintage look and texture. Afghan wool has variations in the wool giving color interest. it has a luxurious feel in between a soft pile and flatwoven rug.

The colors in this piece are natural ivory,and gray in varying depths. the foundation has a slight powder denim blue which adds more interest to a cool room

It has been finished by hand washing and blocking in Oushak Turkey
