Anzal’s Coral Crossing Hand-Knot x Zanafi Border

This rug was handwoven by the artisans of Anzal.

Located approximately 30 km north of the renowned weaving town of Tazenakht, this women-only association was established in 2007. It has flourished as generations of women pass down their craft, preserving the rich traditions of Moroccan weaving. Fatima, the President of the Association, is our trusted liaison for all custom orders, ensuring exceptional quality and authenticity.

Woven using the Low Hand-Knot technique, this rug is made from 100% “live” wool, which has been carefully carded, spun, and dyed by hand by the artisans.

The border features the Zanafi technique, adding a subtle yet sophisticated dimension to the overall design.
