This one-of-a-kind rug was handwoven by the artisans of Chichaoua, a village located between Marrakech and Essaouira.

Made from 100% sheep’s wool, thecoblat color is derivedfromindigo stone thatwas brought from the local souk.

Based in the Al Haouz Province of Morocco this rug style is similar to the Boujad rug – this style of rugs are hand-knottedutilizing local sheep andvibrant dyes.

With proper care, this piece will continue to charm for many years to come.
