Description

This kilim from Black Sea region of Turkey is made with pure organic hemp..this is a two piece kilim roughly sewn together off-center. It has a dark brown (goat hair)and taupe lines woven on one side, and many handsewn repairs done by the villagers ……. a very old and clean various toned hemp rug.

Pure hemp is cool to the touch and underfoot and is a great choice in warmer climates.

It has been professionally washed, blocked, starched and restored.
