This wool and cotton vintage lliklla shoulder textile is a fine example of Andean weaving, traditionally worn by women in the highlands of Peru and Bolivia. Woven on a dominant black ground, it is decorated with horizontal bands of geometric motifs in gold, red, and ivory tones.
