5’4 x 9’6 MCM Organic Hemp Rug Vintage Turkish Kilim Creamy White ‘2605

Description

This gorgeous kilim from Black Sea region of Turkey is made with pure organic hemp in creamy white with handmade patches and some repairs in a few areas done with hemp yarns. It is edged on both sides in dark brown, nearly black goat hair. There are a few Cicim symbols in red and green. There are color variations in the hemp.

Pure hemp is cool and soft to the touch and works well in warmer climates. Circa 1970’s

Actual size is 5’4” x 9’6”

It has been professionally washed, blocked, starched and restored.
