This vintageAmazigh rug is over 30 years oldand comes from Jamilla’s Mother-In-Law.

This vintage rug was made from 100% sheep’s wool. While the black is natural undyed wool, thecolors come from ablend ofvegetation that surrounds the village.

This timeless piece represents generations of tradition and symbolism. For example,one of the shapes inside the trellis designrepresents a lion paw, a symbol ofstrength and protectionin theAmazigh culture.

Due to the age of this piece, you will find some light fraying, with that said, with proper care this piece will continue to charm for many years to come.
